The International Institute has 83 years of experience in resettling
refugees, helping limited English proficient clients including immigrants,
refugees, asylees, and asylum seekers, and others to lead productive
lives. They provide first-hand knowledge of the refugee group that
students will be seeing, conduct orientations before each session,
assist students during the clinical sessions, and organize other activities
for student involvement. |

comprehensive medical services to the underserved Westside
of Buffalo. About 30% comprises patients who were
refugees.
Journey's
End Resettlement provides resettlement assistance to newly
arrived refugees in Buffalo. They provide medical, social
work, and instructional staff to work with the medical students
during clinical sessions with the refugees. |
